While I was attending class at Full Sail tragedy struck my home town of New Orleans. On August 29, 2005 Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans and the coastal regions of Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi. Fortunately, my family was safe; however, their homes, possessions, and nearly all of the work I produced at LSU were lost in the ensuing flood waters. Almost a year later, my family remains one of the many families still struggling to recover from the storm. Having no home to return to after college, I was fortunate enough to find my new home in Washington D.C. I would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to those special friends who have sheltered both my heart and mind from the torrent of recent events, without whom I most certainly would not be able to find the courage to continue working towards a longtime dream.
Currently I am working in Annapolis. I have a job in the quality assurance department of Open Path Products, a company that specializes in the porting of cell phone applications across carriers and devices. As the test lead for one of Open Path's most important customers, my job is to oversee the testing of their applications, and ensure that everything is production-ready prior to the specified deadline. However, my real interests lies in the opportunities available at Open Path Products to put my artistic talents to use by modifying graphics and generating screens for cell phone applications.
